The Joy of Life
An original acrylic painting of a pink bouquet of lilacs.
All of my floral pieces were inspired by the topic of change. Below are some of my thoughts on the topic:
Change isn’t linear. It comes in spurts. Most of the time, you can’t tell you’re changing until you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and like what you see, or you reach for a bright piece of clothing instead of black again. Or you start waking up earlier and do some stretches before work. Or you finally limit your interactions with people that exhaust you.
It’s funny how everything in our life is connected. When we change something in our personal lives, another area in our life changes as well. Something as small as treating yourself to a manicure can cause a whole array of happy coincidences and new opportunities. My theory is that you can only bring in the new by shedding away old things that don’t serve you anymore. So if you feel stuck in life, go do something fun. Maybe something you haven’t let yourself do in a while, or something you don’t have time for usually. And watch how that sets into motion positive changes.
These paintings are about growth and transformation. About letting go of limiting beliefs and minimizing yourself. They are about taking care of yourself and allowing yourself to bloom. The cold, dark days are over, it’s time to enjoy life again.
Once you place an order, rest assured that it will be packaged with extra care , ensuring a safe delivery. The piece will be insured and I will send the tracking number. If you have any questions at all, you can email me and we will work out any details.
